PNCMAK BSc Nursing 2026-27 — Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form, candidates must confirm they meet all eligibility requirements. Applications that do not satisfy the eligibility conditions will be rejected at the time of admission even if a rank is assigned.

Academic Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from the Board of Higher Secondary Education Kerala or an equivalent examination recognised by any University in Kerala.

Minimum marks required:

50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
50% marks in English in the Second Year of the qualifying examination

Candidates from CBSE / ICSE / AISSCE Boards

Students who have completed their 10+2 from boards other than Kerala must produce an Eligibility and Equivalency Certificate from KUHS, Thrissur at the time of interview or admission. A 5% weightage is awarded to CBSE, ICSE, and AISSCE candidates after normalization of marks.

Merit List Preparation

The PNCMAK merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in the qualifying examination. No entrance examination is conducted by PNCMAK separately.

35% of total seats — filled through the centralised merit list (Management Quota)
15% of total seats — filled as NRI Quota by member colleges individually
5% weightage — given to CBSE / ICSE / AISSCE candidates after normalization
Tie-breaking rule — in case of equal marks, the candidate who applied earlier gets the higher rank

Centralised Allotment Process (CAP)

PNCMAK uses a Single Window System (SWS) supervised by the Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC). Allotments are strictly based on:

Minority Community Seats

Colleges with minority status (Christian / Muslim) have reserved seats filled as per the directive of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Candidates claiming minority status must produce all required community documents at the time of admission.
